Job Description JOB-19202 Administrative / Program Support-25465 Section: Perinatal Health Surveillance and Quality Bureau: Bureau of Data Analytics, Research and Evaluation (BDARE) Duties: • Provide support for the work of the Maternal Mortality Review Initiative which includes the Maternal Mortality Review Board (MMRB)., • Assist with collecting information for maternal mortality case ascertainment from multiple data sources, including autopsy, police report, Psychiatric Services and Clinical Knowledge for Medicaid members (PSYCKES), incarceration history, online information, and other sources;, • Assist with tracking the receipt of case information and follow up on missing information., • Enter vital death/birth file information and/or other related data as required by the Maternal Mortality Review Information Application (MMRIA);, • Assist in reviewing and verifying entered information; track the receipt of case information and follow up on missing information; and file, photocopy and download case information for case review and MMRB meetings., • Provide support for an internal obstetrician (OB) to review pregnancy-associated cases. i.e., enter data from the death certificate, birth certificate and autopsy into OB case review forms; downloads completed forms received from OB, • Provide support for the transfer of information to and from IPRO abstractors., • Assist in preparing case materials for MMRB reviewer;, • Provide logistical support for MMRB meetings;, • Perform general office and administrative related assignments. Skills required: • Strong office organizational skills related to collecting, tracking, and follow up of data, • Data entry experience, preferably in Access forms, • Experience with office machines to scan, fax, copy and compile documents, • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 software package with an emphasis on Excel., • Ability to accurately extract details from program submissions., • Excellent written and oral communication skills. Additional skill preferred: • Ability to organize work and document progress of projects through to completion.
