We work with "blue collar" workers such as teachers, constructions workers, nurses, home health aids, electricians, actors, MTA workers and many more. Since the Corona virus began, we have gone 100% remote and our company has grown over 38%! We are looking to grow again this year by continuing to hire, train and promote our new remote hires.     MARC Academy and Department of Education (DOE) view family childcare as a respected and valued profession within the early care and education system in New York City. We seek to support and enhance the existing strengths of family childcare as birth-4 programs that promote continuous and responsive relationships, strengthen early learning skills, build resilience, and lay the foundation for all future learning. The primary role of the Education Specialist/Coach is to build strengths-based relationships with affiliated providers to support them as needed and, in particular, with implementing high quality play-based instruction. Responsibilities: ● Collaborate with the FCC Education Director, FCC Family Support Worker, and FCC Monitors to meet the needs of all children and families. ● Provide twice monthly strength-based practice-based coaching to a cohort of affiliated providers as they implement a mixed-age curriculum. ● Adapt and provide guidance to affiliated providers on the implementation of an evidence-based curriculum for mixed-age group settings that meets the individual needs of all children. ● Review and adapt appropriate curriculum supports and documents with affiliated providers that foster hands-on developmentally appropriate and relationship-based interactions with all children. ● Assist affiliated providers gathering observations of children and entering child assessment data in a timely manner and support its use for curriculum and lesson planning. ● Document all coaching sessions aligned with the DOE’s Early Childhood Framework for Quality (EFQ). ● Assist in ongoing outreach, enrollment, and all other administrative tasks. ● Support FCC Education Director in coordinating all required professional learning days –ongoing. ● Maintain relationships with community partners who provide mental health, special needs, and other support services for all affiliated providers and families. ● Create and regularly update Community Partner Resource Guide within FCC Network. ● Participate in twice-monthly FCC Network staff meetings to connect about individual providers, families, and coordinate all services. ● Participate in Network staff professional learning sessions delivered. ● Other tasks as assigned by FCC Education Director/FCC Director. ● Travel within FCC Network catchment area is REQUIRED Skills: ● Time management skills are essential * Ability to multitask *Must be a team player * Must be flexible with changing schedules and priorities. *Skilled Communicator * Appreciation for the unique needs of all providers and families. We are a growing restaurant group operating multiple high-volume locations in the West Village. We are looking for a strong, hands-on General Manager to oversee operations across all restaurants. This role is focused on team leadership, service standards, scheduling, and overall operational execution, with limited administrative responsibilities. What You’ll Do Team Leadership • Oversee staff across multiple locations, including front-of-house teams and overall daily operations, • Manage captains and supervisors to ensure strong leadership at each restaurant, • Maintain discipline, accountability, and professionalism across teams, • Scheduling & Labor Control, • Build and manage weekly schedules (7shifts), • Optimize staffing based on business levels, • Control labor cost through effective scheduling, • Adjust staffing in real time when needed, • Operations & Service Standards, • Ensure consistent execution and high standards across all locations, • Monitor service flow, organization, and overall guest experience, • Support teams during service and resolve operational issues, • Conduct regular walk-throughs of all areas to ensure standards are maintained, • Compliance & Organization, • Maintain standards aligned with New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, • Ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper procedures are followed at all times, • Keep all locations inspection-ready, • Training & Development, • Train and coach staff across locations, • Develop strong team leaders and maintain a consistent culture, • Identify performance issues and take action when needed, • Light Administrative Responsibilities, • Review labor performance and operational metrics, • Participate in hiring and team structuring, • Communicate regularly with ownership on performance and needs (No payroll or heavy administrative work required) What We’re Looking For • 5+ years as a GM or senior restaurant manager (NYC experience preferred), • Strong leadership presence and ability to manage teams, • Experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments, • Strong understanding of scheduling and labor control, • Organized, detail-oriented, and hands-on, • Ability to oversee multiple locations, • Compensation, • Salary: $80,000 – $90,000, • Important This is a hands-on operational role across multiple locations, requiring regular presence in the restaurants and strong involvement with the teams.
