Job DescriptionJob Title: Maintenance MechanicJob Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. This position requires working on the 2nd shift from 3pm to 11:30pm and the 3rd shift from 11pm to 7:30am, Monday through Friday, with potential overtime, totaling 48-50 hours a week. The role involves mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and maintenance of plastic molding machinery, conveyors, labeling machines, and more. Responsibilities • Troubleshoot mechanical issues with bottle melters and blowers., • Repair and replace worn-out shafts, bearings, and gears on conveyors and labeling machines., • Perform electrical troubleshooting on electrical panels, relays, photo eyes, and proximity switches., • Wire production machines up to 480 volts, including those using Allen Bradley PLC software, and troubleshoot PLCs., • Ensure compliance with safety standards and applicable laws and regulations., • Install, adjust, and repair blow mold, trimmers, palletizers, and other related equipment., • Perform mold, neck tooling, pin, and other equipment changes., • Inspect and replace pneumatic and hydraulic hoses, valves, and pumps., • Perform preventive maintenance on all related equipment and maintain machines in optimal condition., • Weld, fabricate, and repair various machines., • Troubleshoot, locate root problems, and repair blow mold, baggers, and support equipment., • Communicate effectively with other departments., • Receive instructions on tasks from Lead Industrial Maintenance Technician or Supervisor and perform other duties as assigned by management.Essential Skills, • Experience in maintenance and industrial maintenance, particularly with plastic molding and blow molding., • Proficient in electrical troubleshooting and wiring up to 480 volts., • Familiarity with pneumatic systems and reading schematics., • Ability to troubleshoot PLCs and identify faulty PLC cards., • Strong mechanical and electrical skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Experience drawing schematics, particularly involving motors.
