Job Title:Manager, Asset Valuation and Modeling Location:Remote Located in New York Job Summary: TrueAero is seeking a highly analytical and motivated professional to join our Asset Valuation & Modeling team as a Manager. This individual will play a key role in supporting the firms investment and capital allocation processes through the development of robust financial models and analytical tools. The Manager will work closely with other team members across the organization to evaluate leasing and teardown transactions for aircraft and engines across a range of structures. This includes developing financial models, conducting investment research and making recommendations to the executive team, as well as the continuous evaluation of portfolio performance for use in external and internal reporting. This role offers an opportunity to contribute directly to a fast-growing platform and to gain broad exposure across investment, technical, and commercial functions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a collaborative and positive attitude. Primary Duties & Responsibilities • Develop and maintain detailed financial models for aircraft leasing, engine, and teardown investments to support company-wide investment decisions., • Analyze portfolio performance and support optimization strategies through financial and credit analysis., • Enhance and rebuild components of existing valuation models, while contributing to the design of new, industry-leading analytical tools., • Prepare and oversee budgets and financial forecasts at the asset, portfolio, and company levels., • Support and mentor junior analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement., • Partner closely with Commercial and Technical teams to ensure analytical alignment with business objectives., • Monitor market trends and competitor activity, producing timely reports and insights for internal stakeholders., • Prepare and present investment analyses and recommendations to the executive team and Investment Committee(s) in a clear, concise manner., • Undertake ad-hoc projects and strategic analyses as needed Required Education, Skills, and Experience: • Undergraduate degree in Aviation, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or another highly analytical field (Engineering, Math, Computer Science). Masters degree a plus, • 45+ years of experience in aircraft leasing or related sectors (e.g., aviation consulting, asset valuation, investment banking, or transaction advisory), • Extensive financial modeling proficiency, with advanced Excel skills and a deep understanding of valuation methodologies, • Experience managing or supervising analysts on projects or within a team setting., • Strong analytical and quantitative abilities, with exceptional attention to detail and understanding of key financial concepts, • Excellent communication skills, capable of synthesizing complex analyses into clear, actionable insights, • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multi-disciplinary, geographically dispersed teams, • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines, • Self-starter with high energy, intellectual curiosity, and a commitment to continuous improvement Knowledge, Behavior, and Abilities: • Strong communication, consultation, and relationship management skills, able to build a rapport with our clients and present information clearly and persuasively., • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment., • Self-motivated and eager to contribute to a high-performing team., • Strategic thinker and problem solver, with the ability to analyze complex situations, identify opportunities, and develop effective solutions., • Excellent time management with the ability to meet deadlines.
