What We’re Looking For: * Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on backend or microservices systems. * Strong experience building web services in Python, including REST APIs. * Experience with FastAPI (or equivalent Python web frameworks). * Experience working with AWS services, including Lambda. * Experience working with PostgreSQL and relational data modeling. * Familiarity with background job processing and event-driven system patterns. * High agency and a strong sense of ownership and accountability. * Curiosity and a willingness to learn new technologies and approaches. * Strong communication skills and a history of working well with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Openness to, and advocacy for, AI-assisted development tooling, with experience using coding agents such as Claude Code or similar tools. * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
