Duties/Responsibilities: Washing Dishes: Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashers or by hand. Organizing: Sort and stack clean dishes and utensils in their designated areas to ensure easy access for kitchen staff. Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep the dishwashing area and kitchen organized and free of clutter, including sweeping and mopping floors as needed. Assisting Kitchen Staff: Support other kitchen staff by helping with food prep, unloading deliveries, and restocking supplies as required. Following Safety Standards: Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring that all dishes are sanitized properly to prevent contamination. Required Skills and Qualifications: Communicate effectively orally. Ensure thorough cleaning and sanitization of all kitchen items to maintain hygiene standards Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff. Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy trays, and move quickly in a fast-paced environment. A keen eye for cleanliness and organization to ensure a pleasant dining experience. Education and Experience: 1 year of fast-paced restaurant experience preferred Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
