Job DescriptionProduction Associate (General Production Operator) Pay: $19.00 – $22.65/hour Schedule: Rotating schedule (4 crews) Position Overview Join our growing team as a Production Associate supporting the manufacturing of specialty carbon and graphite products. This is an entry-level, hands-on role with a clear pathway to advancement through cross-training into higher-level operator positions. If you enjoy working in a physical, fast-paced manufacturing environment and want long-term career growth, this is a great opportunity to build your skills in equipment operation, material handling, and production processes. Key Responsibilities • Load, unload, and move raw materials and finished products throughout the facility, • Operate production equipment such as saws, presses, crushers, and cleaning machines, • Perform general production tasks including cutting, cleaning, and packaging, • Safely operate material-handling equipment (forklifts, cranes, hoists), • Conduct inspections and record measurements using tools like tape measures, calipers, and micrometers, • Accurately label and track materials and finished goods, • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, • Assist experienced operators and participate in cross-training opportunities, • Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly, • Support team production goals and daily operationsRequirements, • High School Diploma or GED, • Ability to work in a physically demanding role (lifting up to 65 lbs occasionally), • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks such as standing, bending, and lifting, • Basic math and measurement skills (including reading a tape measure), • Strong reliability, attendance, and work ethic, • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety standardsPreferred Qualifications, • Previous manufacturing or industrial experience, • Forklift experience or certification, • Experience working with tools, machinery, or manual equipment, • Comfortable working around older, manual production equipment, • Strong teamwork and communication skills, • Ability to quickly learn new processes and adapt to different production areasWhy Join Us?, • Competitive pay: $19.00 – $22.65/hour, • Full benefits: medical, dental, vision, • 401(k) with company match, • Paid vacation and sick time, • Annual profit-sharing program, • Stable, privately owned company with strong employee retention, • Clear opportunities for advancement into higher-level operator roles, • Company-provided uniforms and PPE, • Team-oriented, supportive work environment, • Employee perks: snacks, drinks, and company-sponsored eventsWork Environment, • Industrial manufacturing setting with exposure to graphite dust, noise, and temperature changes, • Requires standing, lifting, bending, and repetitive motion, • PPE required (safety glasses, respirators, steel-toe boots), • Locker rooms and showers available onsite, • Organized into 4 rotating crews, each with ~7 operators and a supervisor Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
