Job Description Bilingual ESL Coordinator Rate: $20 to $25/hr. Position Overview: As our ESL Coordinator, you will play a vital role in helping Spanish-speaking participants learn English and transition into meaningful healthcare careers such as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), and beyond. This is a unique opportunity to combine your passion for education, language development, and community impact. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and deliver customized English as a Second Language (ESL) lessons with a focus on healthcare vocabulary and workplace communication. * Collaborate with training partners and local schools to align language instruction with healthcare certification programs. * Conduct intake assessments, monitor student progress, and adjust teaching strategies to meet individual needs. * Provide coaching, career pathway guidance, and motivational support to program participants. * Assist participants in preparing for interviews, clinical experiences, and professional certifications. * Create a welcoming, supportive learning environment that respects and uplifts diverse cultures and backgrounds. Qualifications: * ESL Certification (TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or equivalent) preferred not required * Bilingual in Spanish and English (required). * Strong interest in healthcare workforce development a plus. * Compassionate, patient, and able to motivate individuals from diverse backgrounds. * Strong organizational, communication, and mentorship skills.
