About the Role As a Marketing Coordinator, you’ll help families feel informed, connected, and confident in choosing our programs. You’ll support marketing initiatives across social media, newsletters, print materials, and community outreach, while working closely with leadership to implement strategy and create engaging content. Key Responsibilities: Newsletter & Family Communications • Create and send monthly email newsletters to segmented family, community, and school partner lists, • Develop weekly family app newsletters using content themes and guidance, • Duplicate and distribute weekly app newsletters across 150+ program sites, ensuring accurate location-specific customization, • Coordinate with internal teams to gather updates, reminders, and program highlights, • Format, proofread, and schedule communications for accuracy and consistency, • Track engagement metrics (opens, clicks) and report insights, • Support growth and maintenance of the community email newsletter list, • Manage incoming contact lists, segmentation, verification, and proper list placementSocial Media Support, • Draft, design, and schedule posts across social platforms, • Highlight program offerings, testimonials, and seasonal campaigns, • Maintain consistent brand voice and visual identity, • Monitor engagement and assist with community responsesContent & Marketing Materials, • Design flyers, graphics, and promotional materials using Canva or similar tools, • Support seasonal marketing campaigns (Summer Camp, Fall Registration, Schools Out), • Assist with blog formatting and website updates, • Maintain organized marketing calendars and timelinesGrassroots & Local Marketing Support, • Coordinate creation, proofing, and ordering of flyers and printed materials for all program locations, • Organize distribution timelines and ensure accurate delivery to schools and partner sites, • Track quantities, reorder needs, and shipping confirmations, • Maintain organized records of seasonal campaigns, • Ensure all printed materials align with brand standards and approved messagingAdministrative & Organizational Support, • Maintain marketing asset libraries and shared folders, • Manage project timelines and internal requests, • Ensure materials are updated, accurate, and on-brandEvent & Community Support, • Assist with planning and on-site coordination of community and internal events, • Prepare materials, signage, and promotional content, • Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone for families, schools, and internal audiences, • Experience managing email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, HubSpot, or similar), • Comfort managing large, segmented lists and coordinating recurring campaigns, • Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar), • Experience managing brand social media accounts, • Strong organizational and project management skills, • Ability to juggle multiple campaigns across different states and program types, • Photography or basic video editing., • Event planning experience., • Employer-paid childcare for school-age children (ages 5–13) enrolled in our program, available only on the days you are working with us, • Telehealth, vision, and dental coverage, • AFLAC supplemental plans, • 401(k) for eligible employees, • Paid sick time, • On-demand pay As a certified benefit corporation, our mission is to make childcare accessible and affordable for today’s families while positively impacting the communities we serve.
