Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in White Plains, New York. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in ensuring the efficient operation of desktop systems and supporting end-user computing environments. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to maintaining and improving IT infrastructure. Responsibilities: • Provide advanced technical support for desktop systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues., • Configure, maintain, and optimize Windows 11 environments, ensuring seamless end-user experiences., • Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripting to streamline operations and maintain security., • Implement and oversee endpoint management tools, such as Microsoft Intune, to ensure compliance and efficiency., • Develop and execute OS imaging and deployment strategies with a focus on automation and scalability., • Monitor and enforce endpoint security protocols, including encryption and compliance measures., • Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that enhance system performance., • Utilize strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues., • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and effective resource allocation., • Stay current with emerging technologies and trends to continuously improve desktop support processes.• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience., • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Windows desktop engineering, administration, or advanced support., • Proficiency in Windows 11, Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripting., • Experience with endpoint management tools such as Microsoft Intune., • Solid knowledge of OS imaging, deployment methodologies, and automation techniques., • Strong understanding of endpoint security, encryption, and compliance requirements., • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a focus on collaboration., • Self-motivated and organized individual capable of managing projects independently.
