Pediatrics Critical Care Medicine Chief The Childrens Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM) and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics have initiated a national search to identify candidates to serve as the Chief of the Division of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine to support all clinical, educational, scholarly, and administrative activities of the division. The PCCU is a referral unit for hospitals in the Bronx, Manhattan, Westchester, and the Hudson Valley. Medical Oncologist Director to join multi-disciplinary Sarcoma team at Montefiore Medical Center. The Department of Medical Oncology at Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine is seeking a Medical Oncologist Director to join a robust and experienced multi-disciplinary Sarcoma Program.This full-time position is based at Montefiore Einstein Cancer Center (MECC) in the Bronx, NY, an NCI-designated cancer center and national leader in cancer research and care, with a patient base that includes the Bronx, Connecticut, Hudson Valley, New York City, and Westchester County. The position offers a dual academic appointment in both the Departments of Medicine and Orthopedics and the opportunity for a close clinical and academic collaboration with orthopedic oncology, pediatric oncology, radiation oncology and other associated subspecialties, all of which are well represented. Physician extender support and protected space and time will be provided to allow the individual to further grow the program, attend conferences, and conduct clinical trials. The position offers the opportunity to work with a racially diverse patient population, which is often underrepresented in many clinical trials. Currently, the program maintains two translational NIH R01 Grants in sarcoma from the NCI as well as dedicated clinical trial and research teams within the clinical trial office. The AAP is looking for a dynamic Medical Director to enhance the programs track record of excellence and national leadership in comprehensive medical and psychosocial care for youth living with or at risk for HIV and LGBTQ youth and youth of color. This position requires the ability to set youth-focused clinical standards for all services to provide excellent medical care that integrates research into clinical practice, contribute to outreach, professional training and public health initiatives focused on improving the health outcomes of youth living with HIV, LGBTQ youth and youth of color. Candidate must have a strong balance of skills including, but not limited to; clinical experience in HIV treatment and prevention LGBTQ health, especially care for transgender youth; track record of success leading a multidisciplinary staff; academic productivity; and high level administrative skills such as managing program/grant deliverables and CQI initiatives, grant writing and reporting, and budget management. Proven ability to effectively communicate with providers, community organizations, diverse youth and family populations is also required. RESPONSIBILITIES:? Direct all medical and psychosocial services and clinical staff ? Coordinate clinical services with all other AAP programs including research, outreach, and training ?
