The Medical Assistance Program (MAP) administers Medicaid and related public health insurance programs, for the City of New York. Applying individuals and families are approved for eligibility against applicable Federal and State guidelines. Those found to be eligible can use coverage provided to access doctors, medication and other health care services at little or no cost. The Out-Stationed Eligibility Division (OED) operates ten community offices across the five boroughs of New York City. These offices assist eligible residents with enrolling in public health insurance programs, primarily Medicaid. Under the general direction of the Executive Director of the Centralized Applications Division, with wide latitude for the exercise of independent judgment and initiative, the Regional Director manages the operations of multiple community offices involved in the processing of applications and service requests for the Non-Modified Adjusted Gross Income (MAGI) consumers. POSITION/DEPARTMENT SUMMARY: Swim instructors are key members of the Aquatics team and will report to the Director of Aquatics. The primary responsibilities are to provide private or group lessons to children and adults of all levels and abilities based on American Red Cross (ARC) standards and program requirements. They are expected to create a fun, nurturing, and educational environment with hands-on learning and lesson planning for children to adults.
