Security Officer Responsibilities Security Officers may perform a combination of the following duties depending on site needs: 1. Maintain a professional and welcoming presence for residents, guests, and vendors, 2. Monitor building access points and maintain awareness of building activity, 3. Conduct routine patrols of interior and exterior areas of the building, 4. Monitor surveillance cameras and building security systems, 5.
