Job Description Now Hiring: Maintenance Clerk – Join Our Operations Team Job Title: Maintenance Clerk Salary Range: $18 – $28 per hour About the Role We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Maintenance Clerk to support our Operations Department. Under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, you will assist with daily maintenance functions, support work crews, and help ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality operations. This position requires strong teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. Performance reviews are conducted annually on your hire date anniversary. Raises and promotions are based on merit—including job performance, work ethic, and attendance—at the discretion of the Executive and Program Directors. Raises are not guaranteed upon review. Key Responsibilities * Assist with the formation and utilization of work crews as required. * Take responsibility for the hands-on completion of assigned tasks, while assisting coworkers as needed. * Support the Operations Manager in establishing safety perimeters at job sites and ensuring safety compliance. * Collaborate with the Operations Manager in designing diagrams, graphs, and specifications describing construction jobs, costs, and equipment needs. * Perform all other assigned tasks. Qualifications * Proven leadership ability. * Clean driving record for a minimum of five years. * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with others while maintaining tact and sensitivity. * Willingness to assist coworkers and clients in achieving goals. * Basic knowledge of construction and general maintenance work across multiple areas. * Strong communication skills—able to clearly express ideas to individuals or groups. * Commitment to safety standards and maintaining safe working conditions. * High standards of professionalism, performance, and personal appearance. * Understanding of substance abuse, treatment, and recovery. * Must remain free of alcohol and/or drugs daily. * If in recovery, must demonstrate a reasonable period of sobriety (as determined by the Executive Director). Education & Experience * High School Diploma or Equivalent required. * Minimum two years of related experience preferred. Why Join Us?
