Job DescriptionDescription: Asset Control Clerk Position Overview: This position is responsible for performing and overseeing the tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. This person is also involved in working closely with the Asset Manager in maintaining Inventory, Purchase Order Entry, as well as accurately receiving inventory against purchase orders into the computer system, verifying shipping paperwork, preparing products for shipping, loading and unloading deliveries from trucks, and placing them in the proper staging area. He/She may also perform inventory control, cycle count, data entry, report generation, and reconciliation process improvement and implementation with regard to asset management and outbound order fulfillment. Essential Job Functions: • Process all Returned Items and Oversee Reverse Logistics Processes, • Front loads all serialized items into BT prior to delivery to ensure auto-confirmation, • Responsible for logging all returned items into the Returns Log, • Resolve any serial/lot, or insufficient quantity via 6.2 WIP for order confirmation, • Perform Various Inventory Checks and Cycle Count to ensure an inventory accuracy of 95% - 99%, • Receive purchase orders into the computer system, • Communicate with the Manager, verbally and in writing, concerning the status of inventory receipts, • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy., • Order picking when needed., • Prepare Inventory for shipping by shrink wrapping or banding, • Verify shipping paperwork – pack lists, freight bill, shipping labels, etc., • Tag received inventory and identify it as ready for fulfillment or storage, • Load/Unload trucks when needed, • Maintain cleanliness in receiving area in a neat and orderly manner/keep work organized, • Operate forklift when needed, • Associate’s Degree or 3-5 Years Relative Experience Preferred., • Able to operate office equipment including computers and supporting word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook), • Possess strong math skills and lot number/sequence recognition, • Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language., • Must be able to clearly understand material tracking documents and communicate verbally with line personnel daily., • Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
