Pay Information $2,982 per week About The Position ID: 74059853 Shift: 12H Days 12 hr Days, EOW, First to Float Description: Unit HAVE CHARGE RN EXPERIENCEUnitL&D of L&D Beds-14 of OR Suites-2 over on postpartum side of triage beds-Triage is done in labor and delivery of Postpartum beds-0 of births per day, per year- 3-4average a day, 1100 last yearDo ratios follow AWHONN guidelines?yesRequired Certifications- NRP,ACLS,BLS, Advanced Fetal MonitoringCommon diagnoses/Types of patients- Laboring, Inductions, cesareans, antepartum with issues, fetal demises, Triage patients of concerns of 20 weeks or greaterExperience or 'Must have' skills- 2 years of current labor and delivery experienceAre RNs required to titrate drips? - yesCommon titratable &/or set rate drips- Pitocin, insulin, magnesium Charge Nurse/House Supervisor- Usually free Charge nurseAre there nurse aids/surgical techs on this unit?- 1 OB TechOB/Neonatologist in house 24/7?YesRT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc)- Pulse ox monitors used routinely Is there tele on this unit? Monitor Techs? RNs read strips?-Yes, for Mag moms EFM System- Fetal link with CernerShifts & Scheduling- 3 times a weekWeekend Requirement- 1 every other weekendHoliday Requirement- 1 major 2 minor-Is there a call or standby requirement?-Yes 1 on call shift every 2 weeks Floating Requirements- NoScrub Color/Dress code- They are light blue and supplied to them here every shiftUnit/Department specific orientation- 1 day orientation.
