SUMMARY This position is available for licensed Registered Nurses (RN). Under a nurse's supervision, performs designated technical, clerical, and clinical task associated with patient home care, including assessment, obtaining IV access, port access, education, and infusion of injectable medications. In addition, performs designated tasks regarding pharmacy quality control, management of pharmacy & nursing records, inventory control and preparation of orders for drugs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary. • As an infusion nurse your primary duties require you to infuse a patient in their home and requires you to travel to and from your patient's home, • Must commit to a minimum of 24 to 30 hours per week on average. A minimum of 30 hours per week on average is required for benefits. Administer Infusions and Injections: • Administer specialty medications via IV, subcutaneous injections, or other methods as prescribed by the healthcare provider., • Assess the patient's medical history, allergies, and current medications before administering treatments., • Evaluate the patient's physical condition and vital signs (e.g., blood pressure, heart rate) before, during, and after infusions., • Educate patients and caregivers about their medication, including how it works, potential side effects, and what to expect during the treatment process., • Continuously monitor patients for immediate reactions during and after infusions., • Schedule follow-up calls or visits to monitor patient progress and any delayed side effects., • Provide feedback with adjusting care plans based on feedback or changes in the patient's health., • Maintain accurate and detailed records of the infusion process, patient responses, any adverse events, and medication administration., • Document patient education and follow-up instructions, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and pharmacy policies., • Work closely with nursing team, pharmacists, and other pharmacy staff members to ensure optimal patient care and coordination of treatment plans., • Communicate any issues or concerns regarding treatment effectiveness or patient reactions to the clinical nurse supervisor., • Ensure the proper preparation and handling of medications, adhering to safety standards., • Verify that the right medication and dosage are provided for each patient., • Ensure sterile techniques and safety protocols are followed during the infusion process., • Adhere to infection control guidelines and prevent any contamination during the preparation or administration of medications., • Monitor medication stock levels to ensure adequate supply of specialty medications and other infusion-related supplies., • Coordinate with the pharmacy team to manage inventory and ensure the availability of needed medications., • Offer support for insurance verification or authorization processes related to specialty medications. Job Description Summary: Krystal Biotech, Inc is seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Support Technician to support our commercial manufacturing facility in the South Side. The Technician will work closely with the manufacturing team to uphold cleanroom standards, follow strict procedures, and contribute to the smooth operation of all manufacturing processes. Primary Responsibilities: • Assist in the setup, breakdown, and cleaning of equipment and manufacturing areas before and after production runs, • Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure that facilities are prepared and ready for production activities as per schedule, • Execute and maintain strict cleaning and sanitization protocols in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), • Conduct routine inspections of cleanrooms to identify any cleanliness or contamination issues, promptly reporting and addressing them according to established procedures, • Follow and document all procedures, including batch records, cleaning logs, and any other required documentation accurately and in a timely manner, • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous waste materials, • Support the maintenance of process gas levels, calibration of equipment, and preventative maintenance schedules, • Participate in training sessions and meetings to stay updated on the latest industry standards, regulations, and best practices, • Assist with movement of materials; work with EHS/Materials Teams for collection and dispensing of biohazardous waste, • Support a standard 40-hour work week with flexibility to support occasional off-shift hours and/or weekends, • High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional technical or vocational training in biopharma manufacturing, cleanroom operations, or related fields is a plus, • In lieu of direct experience, bachelor’s degrees in applicable fields such as life sciences or engineering will be considered, • Experience with sanitization, aseptic technique and/or sterile processes in a regulated setting (GMP, ISO) is highly preferred, • Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate documentation, • Excellent attention to detail, organization skills, and the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment, • Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and adherence to standard operating procedures, • Excellent communication and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team, • Physical stamina and the ability to stand, bend, and lift heavy objects when necessary Powered by JazzHR EsU0F8x6JU
