ACLD (Adults and Children with Learning and Developmental Disabilities, Inc.) is looking for a seasoned, dynamic Residential Manager to direct the day-to-day operations of an adult residential group home. The ideal candidate can manage diverse duties and multiple priorities; and is able to maintain effective relationships with people supported, families, staff, and other internal/external departments. Candidate should have strong initiative, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to be creative, while managing multiple priorities in a busy residence. This is a full-time position and requires flexibility in work schedule including at least one evening and one early morning shift per week and weekend hours. Position is also required to be on-call. Responsibilities: • Promote a positive and productive work environment, • Hire, train and coach all direct care employees including Assistant Manager, • Promote ACLD’s values and strategic vision, • Develop and manage Individual Service Plans and Plans of Protection/Behavior Support Plans, • Ensure oversight of Health & Fire Safety, • Manage crisis situations and behavioral issues as the needs arise, • Manage budgets and ensure sound fiscal management procedures are being followed, • Ensure accurate documentation and service billing is complete and submitted in a timely fashion, • Diligent in complying with OPWDD and ACLD policies, rules and regulations We require: • High School Diploma, • Two years experience working in I/DD field, • One year supervisory experience, • Strong managerial skills and written and verbal communication skills, • Clean and valid New York driver’s license, • Strong Microsoft Office computer skills Apply online at or text us for more information at 516-732-3979.
