American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Antioch, California. • Specialty: CT Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 01/12/2026, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 10 hours, evenings, • Employment Type: Travel American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of acute care experience and current California licensure for comprehensive imaging responsibilities. • Work in a hospital CT department serving neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, • Coordinate and perform Computerized Tomography studies and assist with CT-guided procedures, • Day, evening, and night shifts available, including weekend coverage, • Shifts are 4x10 hours with typical start times of 13:30 or 21:30, • Expected to manage high risk and critically ill patients as part of the caseload, • Utilizes PACS for image transmission, archiving, and retrieval, • Epic EMR experience is preferred but not required, • Perform and coordinate quality CT studies according to physician protocols and clinical history, • Assist with CT-guided procedures and ensure accurate charge capture and documentation in the EHR, • Assess and educate patients, addressing concerns before procedure execution, • Demonstrate knowledge of and compliance with Federal, State, and local regulatory requirements, • Non-supervisory role adhering to all institutional policies and compliance programs, • Only one holiday time-off request will be approved per assignment, • Must be available for pre-employment lab work within 3-5 days of signing, • Returning travelers must be gone for at least one year before reapplying, • 50-mile travel radius required; local candidates accepted at adjusted local rate, • Orientation includes completion of online modules (1-5 hours on average) during training, • Successful graduation from a Joint Commission approved School of Radiologic Technology or Associate's in Radiologic Sciences, • California Radiologic Technologist License required if applicable, • Minimum 2 years of CT experience, preferably in an acute care facility, • Current ARRT (Radiography), ARRT (CT), CRT, IV Certification, and AHA BLS required, • Radiology Fluoroscopy permit required within 180 days of hire, • Experience with cross-sectional anatomy, venipuncture, contrast administration, and medication safety, • Proficiency in multiple computer systems and PACS is expected, • All certifications must be AHA and in hand at time of consideration, • High Pay and Bonuses, • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options, • 401(k) Plan, • Weekly Payroll Deposit, • Free Online CEUs, • Generous Housing Allowance, • Travel and Licensure Reimbursements, • Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy, • Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID #P-647489.
