Job Responsibilities: • Performs preliminary work-up as a technician for physicians including, but not limited to, ocular and medical history, visual acuity, applanation tonometry, pupil and basic motility assessment, • Diagnostic imaging such as OCT, fundus photos, angiograms (basic knowledge ok, we are willing to train the right candidate), • Maintains and troubleshoots ophthalmic equipment (slit lamps, retina cameras), • Organizes and restocks exam rooms using inventory management system, as directed by supervisor, • Obtaining pre-procedural consent forms and other related documentation., • Assists with image-archiving and storage, • Help maintain and keep up with office flow, • Recognizes problems or malfunctions of photographic, diagnostic and related equipment.
