Job DescriptionJob Title: Pharmacy TechnicianJob Description As a pharmacy technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of a bustling local pharmacy. Your responsibilities will include communicating with doctor's offices and insurance companies, inputting electronic or hard copy prescriptions, filling prescriptions, manually processing prescription orders, and entering data into our systems. Responsibilities • Communicate effectively with doctors, insurance companies, and patients., • Input prescriptions accurately, whether electronic or hard copy., • Fill prescriptions promptly and efficiently., • Manually process prescription orders as needed., • Enter data accurately into the pharmacy's system.Essential Skills, • Possession of a pharmacy technician license or certification is preferred., • Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, doctors, insurance representatives, and staff members., • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities., • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment., • Experience with prior authorizations and healthcare or pharmacy support.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Proven expertise in order entry.
