Job Description Atlantic Plywood is looking for a full-time Truck Driver to join our team! We are looking for skilled Class A CDL Drivers to primarily doing transfers between branches with limited customer deliveries. We seek highly motivated and experienced drivers with a background in delivering construction and or industrial products and providing customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Maintain driver logs and complete pre-trip inspections, • Follow all corporate operational procedures and QC Standards, • Adhere to all safety requirements, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, • Maintain the service and appearance of all company vehicles, • Follow delivery/pickup instructions from Warehouse Manager and/or Sales Manager, • Authorization to work in the US, • High school diploma / GED, • Valid Commercial Class B Driver’s License and clean driving record, • Current Medical Card, • Good understanding of safety procedures and use of personal protection equipment (PPE), • Good organizational and time management skills, • Must be able to work unsupervised as well as in a team, • Must be able to start early, work late occasionally as needed, • Knowledge of GVWR’s, state/federal regulations regarding height/weight maximums, & winch operations, • OSHA familiarity/training, • Acceptable DOT Drug Test History, • Previous CDL Driving experience, • Previous warehouse experience, • Flatbed and/or tractor-trailer experience, • Frequent holding and grasping with the hands when loading and unloading equipment and while securing your load, • Frequent use of foot/feet, • Frequent lifting of 50 lbs.; occasional lifting up to 90 lbs., • Frequent pushing and pulling of truck side-curtain walls, • Frequent use of winch & ratchet strap tie-downs for load securement, • Morning Shift, • Local Routes w/ Occasional Overnight Deliveries, • Weekends off, • 10+ Paid Holidays, • Accruable PTO, • 401(k) Program, • Company Paid Life Insurance, • Short- and Long-Term Disability Insurance, • Health, Dental, Vision, and Flexible Spending Insurance Plans, • A positive work environment with all team players, • Bonus incentives for employee referrals Since our inception in 1974, Atlantic Plywood Corporation has prided itself on delivering the highest quality and best value to our customers. We seek highly motivated and experienced drivers with a background in delivering construction and or industrial products and providing customer satisfaction. This temporary role is a 12-week assignment, with an anticipated start date of December 15, 2025.
