The SNAP Instructor is responsible for providing individualized swim instruction to children enrolled in Aqua-Tots' SNAP (Students Needing Adaptive Programming) program. This role focuses on water safety, swim skill development, and confidence-building in a supportive and adaptive environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Provide swim instruction exclusively to students in the SNAP program., • Adapt lessons to meet the needs, abilities, and learning styles of each child., • Ensure a safe, structured, and inclusive environment during all lessons., • Communicate progress and goals with parents, caregivers, and guardians., • Maintain consistency and reliability in attendance and scheduling., • Follow Aqua-Tots' established safety protocols and curriculum standards., • Prior experience working with children with disabilities (educational, therapeutic, or caregiving setting)., • Strong interpersonal skills with patience, empathy, and adaptability., • Ability to provide positive reinforcement and encouragement to students., • No prior swim instruction required; training will be provided., • Must be dependable and maintain 90% attendance throughout employment.
