From groundbreaking products like Video Judge to our full suite of Registration, Scheduling, Tabulation, and Streaming tools, we’re trusted nationwide as the gold standard for dance videography and photography. 🌐 Learn more about us here: What We Do at DanceBUG Role Overview The Equipment Coordinator is responsible for preparing, testing, and packing the media equipment our teams use to capture video and photo at dance competitions across North America. Based in our Niagara Falls, NY office, you’ll ensure that every kit — cameras, audio gear, accessories, and supporting tech — is complete, functional, and ready to ship on time. This role blends technical know-how with logistical precision, making you the key link between our warehouse and the field crews who deliver DanceBUG’s industry-leading media. Key Responsibilities • Prepare, test, and pack complete equipment kits for videographers and photographers, • Receive, inspect, clean, and perform routine maintenance on returned gear, • Track and update inventory using logistics/asset management software, • Ship and coordinate equipment deliveries, • Troubleshoot and perform basic hardware/software repairs, • Replace defective equipment and consumables (batteries, cables, memory cards, etc.) as needed, • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized equipment storage area, • Safely lift, move, and organize equipment What We’re Looking For, • Hands-on knowledge of AV and media equipment (cameras, audio gear, cables, and accessories), • Experience preparing, organizing, testing, and maintaining equipment kits for live events, broadcast, or AV production, • Inventory management skills — able to track gear in/out, verify completeness of kits, and maintain accurate records in software systems, • Logistics coordination experience — preparing shipping labels, packaging gear securely, and scheduling pickups/deliveries, • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills — able to manage large volumes of equipment with accuracy, • Computer proficiency with hardware/software setup, • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs of equipment, • Dependable, adaptable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, • Play a critical behind-the-scenes role in the success of dance competitions across North America, • Work hands-on with professional video, audio, and AV gear every day, • Build expertise in logistics, inventory, and technical troubleshooting, • Be part of a company that is the industry standard in dance videography and photography, • Take pride in knowing your precision and attention to detail directly impact the quality of the media delivered to thousands of dancers and familiesIf you’re organized, detail-oriented, and love keeping things running smoothly, you’ll thrive at DanceBUG.
