Job Description Industrial Construction Manager – Power & Heavy Industrial Projects Heavy Industrial Equipment Installation | Power Generation | Water/Wastewater | LNG | Oil & Gas | Data Centers $110,000–$130,000 Base + Comprehensive Benefits An established engineering and manufacturing organization is seeking an Industrial Construction Manager to lead field execution for large-scale industrial equipment installations within power and heavy process facilities. This role is centered on disciplined field management, technical oversight, and structured documentation control across complex industrial construction environments. The position supports capital projects within power generation plants, substations, water and wastewater treatment facilities, LNG terminals, oil and gas processing sites, and mission-critical data centers. The Construction Manager operates directly at active industrial job sites, coordinating with EPC contractors, plant personnel, inspectors, and internal engineering and fabrication teams to ensure compliant, on-schedule execution. Key Responsibilities • Direct field installation of custom-engineered heavy industrial equipment and mechanical systems within operating or greenfield power and process facilities, • Oversee construction activities for strict compliance with contract requirements, industry codes, project specifications, and quality standards, • Act as the on-site technical authority interfacing with EPC firms, plant owners, subcontractors, QA/QC inspectors, and commissioning teams, • Perform constructability reviews, field inspections, and progress verification against approved drawings and installation procedures, • Manage RFIs, submittals, schedules, milestones, and deliverables to maintain schedule integrity and budget alignment, • Maintain structured project documentation including installation records, inspection reports, compliance certifications, turnover packages, and final closeout documentation, • Support commissioning and startup activities in coordination with plant operations and engineering teams, • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency, • Minimum five years of industrial construction experience within power generation, utility infrastructure, water/wastewater, LNG, oil and gas, data centers, or comparable heavy industrial sectors, • Demonstrated experience managing field execution of large mechanical or process equipment installations, • Working knowledge of ASME, B31.1, AWS, AISC, OSHA, and related industrial construction and safety standards, • Ability to interpret P&IDs, isometrics, structural drawings, equipment layouts, and technical specifications, • Strong written and verbal communication skills with disciplined documentation practices, • Willingness to travel up to 50%, including domestic and international project sites #construction #eommanufacturing #associate Company DescriptionLibertyjobs.com has become an essential destination site for experienced job seekers.
