This is a client-facing role where officers help maintain the safety and security of the building while providing a professional presence for guests, and vendors. The position is ideal for individuals who demonstrate sound judgment, strong communication skills, and a polished, professional demeanor appropriate for a residential environment. Security Officers in this role play an important part in maintaining a safe, well-managed property while delivering courteous and attentive service to tenants and visitors. Security Officer Responsibilities Security Officers may perform a combination of the following duties depending on site needs: 1. Maintain a professional and welcoming presence for residents, guests, and vendors, 2. Monitor building access points and maintain awareness of building activity, 3. Conduct routine patrols of interior and exterior areas of the building, 4. Monitor surveillance cameras and building security systems, 5. Respond to emergencies and security concerns promptly and professionally, 6. Maintain accurate shift logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports, 7. Assist with package handling and vendor deliveries when required, 8. Maintain control and documentation of building and concierge keys, 9.
