Job Description Location: (Tremont)Bronx, NY Travel: Required between Tremont & New Rochelle Employment Type: Full‐Time or Part‐Time** Compensation: Starting at $270,000+, based on experience and skillset** Position Overview: An outpatient musculoskeletal and rehabilitation practice is seeking a Board‐Certified or Board‐Eligible Physiatrist (PM&R) to join a multidisciplinary clinical team. This position offers broad exposure to musculoskeletal medicine, interventional procedures, functional rehabilitation, and patient‐centered care. Full‐time and part‐time opportunities are available. Practice Focus Areas: • Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, • Interventional Pain Management, • Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation, • Workers’ Compensation & No‐Fault Injury Care Responsibilities: • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, • Diagnose pain and functional impairments due to injury, disease, or disability, • Develop and implement customized treatment plans, • Perform medical procedures, including:, • Trigger point injections, • Soft‐tissue and joint injections, • Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary providers (PT, PTA, technicians), • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, • Perform or supervise EMG/NCV electrodiagnostic studies, • Counsel patients and families on lifestyle modifications and recovery expectations, • Order and interpret diagnostic imaging (X‐ray, CT, Ultrasound, MRI), • Refer patients to specialists when appropriate, • Conduct initial and follow‐up evaluations to assess progress, • Prescribe orthotic devices and ensure proper fit, • Document all services and maintain accurate medical records, • Measure range of motion using a handheld goniometer, • Experience in outpatient musculoskeletal medicine preferred, • Familiarity with physical rehabilitation modalities and injury‐specific treatment programs, • Ability to supervise or collaborate with physical therapists and support staff, • Competence with injections and writing prescriptions, • Ability to develop pain‐management strategies, • M.D. or D.O. degree, • Board‐Certified or Board‐Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (ABPMR), • Active New York medical license, • BLS certification, • Excellent bedside manner and patient communication, • Strong attention to detail, • Compassionate, organized, and patient‐focused, • Effective interpersonal and problem‐solving skills, • Ability to respond to urgent patient needs, • Frequent standing and walking, • Ability to lift, position, push, and transfer patients, • Quarterly RVU‐based productivity bonuses, • Medical insurance, • Paid Time Off + Paid Holidays, • 401(k)Company DescriptionLanceSoft is rated as one of the largest staffing firms in the US by SIA.
