As an early key hire, this person will work directly with the founder and have meaningful influence over how JWA builds its growth engine, client experience, and operating infrastructure for the next stage of the firm. \n \n About the Role \n This role has two primary responsibilities: building and managing JWA’s growth engine—from audience development and lead generation through qualification and qualified opportunities—and helping ensure existing clients remain exceptionally well served. \n \n As an early key hire, you will have meaningful visibility, responsibility, and influence over how JWA grows. You should be comfortable creating structure, improving processes, and taking ownership in an environment where not every system has already been fully established. \n \n The role spans three interconnected areas: \n\n • Growth Operations & Lead Conversion — turn inbound leads and referrals into qualified conversations through disciplined follow-up, thoughtful qualification, and consistent pipeline management.\n, • Client Experience & Service Operations — keep clients supported, meetings prepared, action items moving, and follow-ups on track.\n, • Content, Brand, & Audience Growth — help organize, distribute, test, and measure the firm’s podcast, blog, market commentary, social content, and educational resources while connecting that content to audience growth, prospect nurture, and measurable business-development activity.\n\n \n The ideal person will combine the discipline of an operator, the warmth of a client-service professional, and the commercial awareness to recognize and advance promising opportunities. \n \n What You'll Own \n Lead Conversion & Prospect Pipeline \n A core responsibility: turning inbound interest into qualified opportunities. Leads come in through digital advertising, the website, e-guides, masterclasses, and referrals. You own the process from first inquiry to qualified meeting. \n \n\n • Build and run lead qualification criteria and a repeatable follow-up cadence\n, • Separate high-intent prospects from broad, educational leads\n, • Follow up with warm leads by phone and email, and re-engage quiet prospects\n, • Schedule introductory calls and 360° Wealth Alignment Meetings\n, • Flag high-fit prospects for founder follow-up\n, • Deliver a weekly pipeline report: lead flow, quality, outreach, and conversion\n\n \n CRM, Workflow & Growth Operations \n You make the CRM the operating backbone of the firm. If it matters, it is tracked. If it is tracked, it has a next step. \n \n\n • Own day-to-day CRM hygiene: accurate stages and next steps\n, • Build workflows and SOPs for lead intake, follow-up, and handoffs\n, • Track campaign activity and lead-source performance\n, • Deliver a weekly operating dashboard and flag bottlenecks\n, • Partner with the founder and outside marketing partners to evaluate lead quality, improve funnels, test acquisition channels, and recommend where JWA should allocate marketing resources.\n, • Build closed-loop reporting that connects campaign and content activity to leads, qualified meetings, new clients, AUM, and recurring revenue.\n\n \n Existing Client Experience \n JWA is a high-touch firm. Clients should feel proactively cared for as we grow. \n \n\n • Coordinate meeting scheduling, confirmations, reminders, and prep\n, • Track post-meeting action items and support client onboarding and paperwork\n, • Maintain accurate CRM records and schedule proactive review meetings\n, • Track client planning moments: bonuses, RSU vesting, insurance reviews, estate follow-ups, tax deadlines, college planning\n, • Own routine client-service requests from initiation through resolution, coordinating with the founder and outside partners as appropriate.\n\n \n Content, Brand, & Audience Growth \n The founder remains the voice of The Big Bo $how and the Wealth of Knowledge blog. You will help keep the content organized, distributed, and connected to meaningful business-development activity. \n \n\n • Maintain the content and podcast calendar; coordinate publishing\n, • Support guest research, scheduling, and outside marketing partners\n, • Track engagement and flag content for specific prospects or clients\n, • Help develop and execute strategies to expand the reach of The Big Bo $how and JWA's broader content, including distribution, repurposing, guest opportunities, collaborations, and other audience-growth initiatives.\n\n \n Estimated Time Allocation \n\n • 50% — Lead conversion, prospect pipeline, growth operations\n, • 20% — Content, brand, & audience growth\n, • 30% — Existing client service and operational support\n\n \n Who You Are \n Organized, reliable, and proactive. You create order and follow through. You are comfortable on the phone and know how to follow up professionally without being pushy. \n \n\n • Highly organized and detail-oriented\n, • Strong at CRM, pipeline, or workflow management\n, • Comfortable making phone calls to warm leads and prospects\n, • Warm and professional in client and prospect communication\n, • A strong written communicator with sound judgment\n, • Tech-comfortable and quick to learn new systems\n, • Discreet with confidential information\n, • Comfortable in a growing, entrepreneurial environment\n\n \n We value candidates who have thrived in high-accountability team environments—whether through athletics, demanding professional settings, military service, community leadership or other team-based experiences. \n \n Qualifications \n Required \n\n • 3+ years of relevant experience in growth operations, sales operations, client success, professional-services business development, CRM/pipeline management or a related client-facing field (financial services, professional services, recruiting, real estate, or insurance all count)\n, • Demonstrated experience owning or materially improving a growth, sales, client-acquisition, CRM/pipeline, or demand-generation process, with the ability to use data to identify what is and is not working\n, • Comfort making phone calls to warm leads and prospects\n, • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills\n, • Strong attention to detail and discretion with confidential information\n, • Series 65 license, or ability to obtain within the first 90 days of employment\n\n \n Preferred \n\n • Experience at an RIA, financial planning firm, insurance agency, or other professional services firm\n, • Familiarity with CRM systems, email marketing platforms, scheduling tools, or client portals\n, • Experience connecting digital marketing, content, events/webinars, social media, email nurture, or other marketing activity to measurable audience or pipeline growth.\n, • Experience supporting paid digital acquisition and lead-generation funnels, including Meta/Facebook, Google, webinars, masterclasses, or educational content\n\n \n Tools & Systems \n Wealthbox CRM, Orion, Schwab, GoHighLevel, Mailchimp, Calendly, and Microsoft Office. Prior experience with these exact tools is a plus, not a requirement. \n \n Compensation & Benefits \n Base salary of $80,000–$110,000, based on experience, plus a meaningful performance bonus tied to qualified opportunity generation, growth and marketing effectiveness, CRM and pipeline discipline, client experience, content and audience growth, overall contribution, and firm success. \n \n JWA offers paid time off, professional development support, licensing and credential support, and hybrid flexibility over time for the right fit. We are in the process of finalizing healthcare and retirement benefits as the firm continues to grow.
