Desired Qualifications: • Valid state licensure and ARRT (Radiography) certification required, • Prior experience in a radiology department preferred, • Familiarity with radiographic positioning, x-ray equipment, and safety practices, • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams, • Produce high-quality diagnostic radiographic images through precise patient positioning and proper equipment usage, • Implement radiation safety measures for patient protection, • Perform portable x-rays in patient rooms, operating rooms, and the emergency department, • Identify films accurately and assist with film development and record-keeping processes, • Prepare and administer radiopaque contrast media under physician guidance, • Provide assistance for patient mobility and comfort throughout imaging procedures, • Manage administrative functions including appointment scheduling, file maintenance, and patient instruction, • Communicate clearly, adapting to patients’ age, cultural, and developmental needs, • Tax-advantaged stipends and travel assistance, • Premium compensation for travel assignments, • Comprehensive healthcare benefits, including medical, dental, and vision, • 401(k) plan for future financial security, • Exposure to innovative techniques and diverse practices, • Support and resources for professional advancement Compensation for this position ranges from $22.05 to $50.00.
