Job Description General Summary We are seeking a maintenance worker to assist the superintendent in maintaining the physical integrity of the property. This involves insuring a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors and staff. The maintenance worker will carry out assigned duties in a safe manner and other duties as requested by the Superintendent. Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities: A building maintenance worker must possess a variety of skills encompassing most of the construction trades, handling that require basic skills as an electrician, carpenter, plumber, mechanic, painter, HVAC technician and roofer, as well as be able to perform all the responsibilities of a porter, should the situation warrant. The building maintenance worker must always remain aware of their limitations and request the services of a professional when the worker’s lack of expertise requires it.
