About Brynson Brynson is a PropTech intelligence company redefining how the multifamily real estate industry operates. Our platform, Brynsights™, is the industry’s first unified intelligence command center; connecting marketing, operations, analytics, and compliance into a single source of truth. Our AI-powered decision support tool, Paul, is already changing how operators make decisions at scale. We have incredible clients, a growing platform, and momentum in a market ready to be redefined. We are in execution mode, scaling a product that operators are already depending on. We are building Brynson with intention and looking for exceptional people who want to elevate an industry and help create smarter, more transparent outcomes for everyone involved. The Opportunity Brynson is honored to serve the largest names in multifamily real estate. The product is delivering real value. The market is responding. We are growing fast and we intend to keep going. As VP of Operations, you will work alongside the CEO to own how Brynson runs in practice, every day. You will assess what exists, stabilize what needs it, and build the infrastructure that lets this company scale with intention. This role is designed as the next step in delivering a consistent, repeatable, and incredible experience to our team members, customers, and stakeholders alike. In the near term, this means being hands-on: getting into the details of customer success, sales operations, support, and cross-functional execution, and bringing clear direction to a fast-moving environment. Over time, it means building the team and systems that make that self-sustaining — and stepping into a true COO-level role as the company grows around you. This is a role for someone who knows how to operate in a high-intensity, high-stakes environment — delivering for incredible customers every day while incrementally improving the processes and systems that will carry us into our next stage of growth. What You’ll Own Immediate: Bringing Order to Momentum • Assess the current state of operations across customer success, sales, support, and internal execution quickly and without ceremony, • Establish clear ownership across every function, ensuring accountability, clarity, and consistent execution at every level., • Create the communication and reporting infrastructure that gives leadership real visibility into what is happening and what needs attention Near-Term: Building the Operating System • Design and implement scalable processes across customer success, sales operations, support, and internal workflows, • Build KPI frameworks and reporting structures that surface performance, risk, and opportunity in real time, • Own and optimize the operational tech stack — HubSpot, Google Workspace, Slack, AI workflow tools — and close the gaps, • Hire strategically behind yourself: identify where the team needs to grow and bring in the right people to build it, • Eliminate the friction and bottlenecks that slow execution and dilute focus Long-Term: Scaling With the Company • Evolve into the operational executive Brynson needs as it grows — building the leadership layer beneath you and expanding your scope accordingly, • Serve as the CEO’s most essential partner: own the internal engine fully so leadership can stay focused on vision, product, and market, • Build a culture where commitments are made, tracked, and delivered — consistently, not occasionally, • Define the organizational structure that supports the next stage of growth and have the conviction to build toward it Who You Are You have been an operator at a high-growth SaaS company, ideally through a period of real scaling and you know what it looks like when a business is moving faster than its systems. More importantly, you know how to lead through it. You are equally comfortable in the details and in the boardroom. You do not wait for perfect information to make a call. You can hold a difficult conversation, build a team, and write a clear process doc. You are a player-coach right now, and you are fine with that. You understand that at this stage, leadership means doing the work alongside the team, not delegating from a distance and waiting for reports. Qualifications • 8+ years in operations, business operations, or a related function at a high-growth technology company, • Demonstrated track record of building accountability structures that actually hold in practice, not just on paper, • Experience owning customer-facing operations: success, support, onboarding, or a combination, • Strong proficiency with HubSpot, Google Workspace, Slack, and AI productivity platforms, • Exceptional communication skills — you write clearly, speak directly, and lead with authority across functions, • Series A–C stage company experience strongly preferred; you have seen this movie before, • Based in or willing to relocate to New York City; expected in-office four days per week Compensation & Benefits • Base Salary: $200,000 – $260,000, • Equity: Meaningful ownership stake reflecting the seniority and long-term impact of this role, • Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, • Time Off: Flexible PTO, • Travel: 10–20% travel as needed Brynson is an equal opportunity employer. We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive and barrier-free work environment for all employees and candidates.
