Job Description Our company is seeking a Cherry Picker Operator to reach high places for tasks within the warehouse. The candidate will be responsible for placing/retrieving items, stocking shelves, and assisting other workers while following strict safety protocols like harness use and equipment checks. Key duties include operating controls, picking/stocking inventory, potentially driving other equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks), and coordinating with ground crews, requiring good coordination, attention to detail, and physical fitness. Key Responsibilities • Operate Equipment: Safely maneuver the cherry picker (hydraulic arm/platform) to elevate workers or materials., • Material Handling: Place, retrieve, and move large items, stock shelves, wrap pallets, and prepare orders for loading., • Inventory Management: Use RF scanners to track products, perform cycle counts, and maintain accurate records., • Safety Compliance: Conduct daily equipment inspections, wear required safety gear (harness, vest), and follow all health, safety, and OSHA regulations., • Coordination: Communicate with supervisors and ground crews for task coordination and efficient workflow., • Loading/Unloading: Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks. As the Director, you'll be the driving force behind every aspect of the operation of the Healthy Kids Program Site. JOB STATUS: Part-Time, Non-Exempt LOCATION: Haldane Elementary School in Cold Spring, NY PAY: $17.00 per hour HOURS: 3:00 - 6:00 pm JOB CONSISTS OF: • Guiding Compliance: Ensure that both staff and program adhere to OCFS guidelines, Healthy Kids policies, and the rules set by our host school., • Bringing the Fun: Direct engaging hands-on activities based on the Healthy Kids Curriculum, covering fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, and more.
