Job DescriptionPatient Account Rep in Melvillle NYLHH is seeking individuals with 1 or more years of experience in Patient Accounts/Billing. Our client, a nationwide specialty provider, is seeking multiple candidates for their call center. The individuals in this role will be responsible for taking inbound calls from patients with questions or concerns on their medical bills. Strong knowledge in reading and explaining EOBs is required!Position overview: • Hiring method: Contract to Hire / Temp to Perm, • Location: 100% onsite in Melville NY for first 6 months – then hybrid (3 days office, 2 days remote), • Hours: Monday – Friday, 8A-5P, • Hourly pay rate: $21/hour; raise upon permanent conversionResponsibilities include:, • Taking inbound calls from patients who may have billing questions or inquiries, • Reading and explaining EOBs to patients, answering questions on their bills, • Taking patient payments, setting monthly payment arrangements, • Reviewing patient accounts and resolving any issues regarding claims, • Other duties that support patients and help with the ongoing patient billingRequired qualifications:, • Call center experience in a healthcare environment, including pharmacy, • Understanding of claims, able to explain bills to patients, • Experience in a fast paced, high volume environment Pay Details: $21.00 per hour Search managed by: Marissa Osorio Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
