Job description: Investigative Analyst Job Description: TruView BSI, LLC is a top-tier professional Background Screening and Investigative services company headquartered in Long Island, NY. Our growing Background Screening Division, located in Melville, is looking for candidates to join the company as an Investigative Analyst for the Due Diligence Department. The Investigative Analyst works in support, and as part of, an established team to help execute processes and deliver pre-employment background screening services and reports both nationally and internationally. Major Responsibilities and/or Essential Functions: • Conduct background investigation and due diligence reports from entry to completion using data searches, court searches, verifications, and other applicable sources and write consolidated reports, • Generate consolidated reports from entry to completion using data searches, court searches, verifications, and other applicable sources, • Understand the FCRA, KYC, AML, and applicable laws, and conduct research & report results in accordance, • Analyze results as investigation proceeds and provide recommendations to the Client, • Communicate with assigned Clients and provide regular updates concerning results, turnaround time, & recommendations, • Identify and utilize the most compliant, accurate, and cost-effective methods during research, • Monitor turnaround times and notify appropriate individuals as limits approach, • Prepare individual case billings, adding/removing fees as required, in support of monthly invoicing, • Obtain and keep current NAPBS FCRA Basic Certification, • Conduct research projects and data gathering, as tasked, in support of Division efforts, • Conduct administrative tasks as required by supervisors Qualification Requirements: • In process or completed bachelor's degree at an accredited college or university or related work experience., • Experience in the background screening industry including operations, business development, vendor management, & compliance with applicable regulations, • Experience with Accurint, Lexis, Westlaw, PACER, • Experience with court and public searches, • Excellent skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, database and presentation packages with proficiency in manipulating, analyzing and presenting data, • Proven analytical skills and attention to detail, • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, • Excellent report writing ability, • Strong command of the English language, • Ability to work under pressure and deliver results within deadlines through effective planning and prioritization Pay range: $19 - $23/hour Job Type: Full-time Benefits: • 401(k), • 401(k) matching, • Dental insurance, • Health insurance, • Life insurance, • Paid time off, • Vision insurance
