    SelesTeres | Queens, NY | Part-Time / Weekends Love skincare, meeting new people, and creating a great customer experience?SelesTeres is a Queens-based handcrafted skincare and self-care brand looking for a friendly, dependable, and sales-minded Market Representative to represent us at farmers markets, pop-ups, and community events throughout NYC.This is an independent, hands-on role perfect for someone who enjoys talking with people and is comfortable actively engaging customers and making sales — not simply standing behind a booth. What You’ll Do • Represent SelesTeres at local markets and events, • Welcome shoppers and introduce them to our brand and products, • Learn our skincare collection and confidently recommend products, • Explain ingredients, product benefits, and current promotions, • Actively engage customers and help drive sales, • Upsell and cross-sell naturally while providing excellent customer service, • Process customer purchases accurately, • Set up, maintain, and break down an attractive market display, • Keep products and inventory organized, • Pick up and return products and market equipment from our Whitestone, Queens studio when required We’re Looking for Someone Who Is • Warm, friendly, outgoing, and comfortable approaching people, • Naturally sales-oriented and motivated to achieve strong market-day sales, • Reliable, punctual, and responsible, • Comfortable working independently, • Professional in appearance and communication, • Organized and attentive to detail, • Interested in skincare, beauty, wellness, or handcrafted products, • Available on Saturdays and/or Sundays, including some early mornings, • Physically comfortable assisting with market setup, breakdown, boxes, tables, and displays Previous sales, retail, beauty/skincare, farmers market, event, or customer-service experience is preferred, but the right personality, reliability, and willingness to learn are equally important. Transportation — Required You must have a valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle with enough space to transport market inventory and setup materials.Some market days will require picking up products and equipment from our Whitestone studio, transporting them to the event, and returning them afterward. Schedule This is a part-time, event-based weekend position. Most events take place on Saturdays and/or Sundays, with some requiring early-morning setup.Additional markets, seasonal events, and pop-ups may be available for someone who becomes a strong and reliable member of our team. A Cook at OTG is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experience. This role requires the ability to consistently prepare food to precise temperature, portion, and plating standards, while working with urgency and upholding strict cleanliness and sanitation protocols. OTG leaders work closely with cooks to ensure clarity around expectations and goals, while actively supporting skill development and career progression. In This Role, You Will: Prepare menu items for respective stations, ensuring all ingredients are prepped, portioned, and accessible for smooth service. Follow and adhere to OTG specifications and restaurant directions, controlling the quality of all food items prepared and served. Maintain organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Operate all kitchen equipment efficiently and safely, including knives, stoves, ovens, broilers, slicers, steamers, and kettles. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, reflecting the standards of OTG. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members, fostering a collaborative environment focused on guest satisfaction. Assist in training new kitchen staff in procedures, safety protocols, and food preparation techniques. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management of any shortages to ensure uninterrupted service. Respond promptly to guest inquiries and feedback during service, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction. Engage in continuous learning and development of culinary skills to enhance personal and team performance. Perform other duties as assigned by the leadership team. Qualifications/Criteria: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English. 2+ years of culinary experience in a high-volume, full service or multi-unit environment preferred. Experience working in a variety of stations; meat, fish, pizza, pasta, garde manger etc. Must successfully obtain ServSafe certification or equivalent within 30 days of being hired, offered by OTG. Knowledge of cooking techniques, safety, and sanitation. Able to lift 35 lbs. or more. Compensation may differ based on a variety of job-related factors that are specific to each candidate.
