This role receives two types of compensation depending on the work being performed. When conducting visits, you will be paid per visit point rate compensation. Your per visit pay will be calculated by multiplying your per visit point rate by the productivity points you accrue for various types of visits. Each type of visit is assigned a certain number of productivity points that is inclusive of "direct" and "indirect" patient care activities. Visits are assigned based on patient and business needs. The number of visits performed each week will vary based on individual productivity targets and the productivity points assigned to the visits performed. POSITION OVERVIEW Under supervision of the Nurse Supervisor/Manager (RN) and with the collaboration of the Program Director, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for the safe and efficient dispensing of methadone medication doses to clients, consistent with the clinic procedures, and performing nursing assessments and functions within their scope of practice. The LPN will coordinate the implementation of medication dispensing in the integrated outpatient program (CDOP/OTP) for clients, which can include various assisted treatment medications such as methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone, and naloxone, and other medications in the OTP dispensing unit. The LPN will be required to collaborate with members of the behavioral health, medical team and other leadership in the development, management, and operations of the OTP and will operate under the organization’s philosophy, standards of practice and policy.
