Join our dedicated healthcare team and experience one of New Jersey's top nursing opportunities. • Job Title: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nursing, • Location: Paterson, New Jersey 07503 (near New York City), • Assignment Type: Travel Nurse, On-Site, • Start Date: January 12, 2026, • End Date: April 13, 2026, • Contract Length: 13 weeks, • Shift: Night Shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), • Total Hours: 36 hours per week, • Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,100 – $2,250, • Parking: $50/month, • ID Badge Fee: $10, • Active New Jersey RN license or compact state nursing license (required at submission), • Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience in a hospital or clinical setting, • BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications required, • IV Certification required, • Certification in Fetal Monitoring required (AWHONN or NCC EFM), • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred, • Experience with antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum care, and circulating/recovering OB surgical patients, • Proficient in both natural and Cesarean section deliveries, • COVID-19 vaccine and booster required (medical/religious exemptions considered), • Availability for every other weekend coverage; may be scheduled for one summer and one winter holiday, • Compliance with hospital grooming standards (no acrylic/artificial nails; nails must be clean, short, and non-distracting), • Provide comprehensive nursing care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients in a busy hospital environment, • Circulate and recover OB surgical patients, including C-section deliveries, • Monitor fetal well-being using advanced fetal monitoring equipment and document findings accurately, • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (radiology, social services, pharmacy, transportation, unit secretary), • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with hospital and nursing standards, • Deliver patient-centered care and support to mothers and newborns throughout the labor and delivery process Planet Healthcare Job ID #438252.
