Position Summary: At Nubeluz, the Nightlife Supervisor is a visible leader on the floor who helps set the tone for the guest experience from the first interaction to the last. This role requires a strong sense of hospitality, confident floor presence, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, luxury nightlife environment. The ideal candidate understands how to deliver warm, polished, and intuitive service aligned with Forbes-level standards, while maintaining control of flow, communication, and team execution. Key Responsibilities: • Demonstrate a genuine passion for hospitality, guest engagement, and creating memorable experiences, • Lead by example in a high-volume, upscale nightlife environment with professionalism, energy, and composure, • Maintain a strong and polished presence at the door, in the hotel lobby, and throughout the floor, • Support a service culture rooted in warmth, precision, anticipation of guest needs, and attention to detail, • Supervise and support the host team to ensure smooth execution of reservations, pacing, seating flow, and guest arrivals, • Train current and new team members according to JAG training guidelines and Nubeluz service expectations, • Uphold Forbes-style standards in guest recognition, communication, presentation, and overall hospitality delivery, • Guide guests through the menu with confidence, demonstrating strong knowledge of food, cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic offerings, • Ensure reservation notes are reviewed and clearly communicated, especially for VIPs, hotel guests, allergens, celebrations, and special requests, • Oversee opening, service, and closing responsibilities, while confidently delegating tasks to the host team, • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the host stand, coat check, entry areas, and surrounding guest touchpoints, • Assist in coordinating special activations, events, and building-wide programming, including Tour de José and other José Andrés Group experiences, • Help manage the rhythm of service by balancing reservations, walk-ins, bar traffic, and high-demand periods such as Golden Hour and late night, • Act as a point of support for service recovery, guest concerns, and team communication during shifts, • Promote clear, calm, and consistent communication between the host team, management, service team, and hotel partners, • Strong understanding of luxury guest engagement and personalized service, • Confidence managing high-profile guests, VIP arrivals, and complex reservation flow, • Ability to read the room and adapt tone, pacing, and service style based on business levels and guest needs, • Interest in nightlife hospitality, rooftop culture, and beverage-forward service, • A natural sense of ownership, accountability, and pride in maintaining high standards, • Open availability is required, with a minimum of 3 days per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays, • Flexibility to work peak business periods, including sunset service, late-night shifts, and special events, • 1–2 years of experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant, rooftop, lounge, nightlife, or luxury hospitality environment in a host, maitre d’, or supervisory role, • Strong leadership presence with the ability to coach, direct, and motivate a front door team in real time, • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust and maintain strong relationships with guests, colleagues, and hotel partners, • Ability to remain calm, gracious, and solutions-oriented under pressure, • Strong work ethic and a desire to grow within a hospitality-driven leadership culture, • Working knowledge of food, classic cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits; elevated beverage knowledge strongly preferred, • Ability to carry beverages on a tray when escorting guests, when needed, • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. when necessary, • Experience using POS and reservation systems; proficiency with Resy and/or OpenTable strongly preferred, • Professional appearance and polished business attire required, aligned with luxury hospitality standards, • Competitive compensation and performance-based bonus opportunities, • Comprehensive health & wellness benefits, • Retirement savings plans, • Employee dining discounts José Andrés Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer and participates in the federal E-Verify Program
