We are currently looking for a Machine Operator to join our team in Spokane, Washington. PURPOSE OF POSITION The Machine Operator is responsible for operating plant Equipment as required / directed while adhering to all rules and regulations mandated by safety policies and procedures to produce a superior product. This position is concerned a Safety Sensitive Position. Task and Responsibilities: • Sets up and operates production machinery and/or mobile equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines., • Maintain and operate with hand and power tools., • Perform physical labor requirements., • Perform regular and basic preventative maintenance checks and tasks., • Maintain required paperwork and documentation of all work performed on equipment as outlined in preventative maintenance program., • Adhere to Nortrak’s Safety, Quality and Environmental Procedures, Practices and Policies., • Model and lead our Nortrak Blue culture and values: (Respect, Responsibility, Curiosity, Courage, Passion, and Diversity)., • High School graduate or GED preferred., • Experience in manufacturing or assembly line is an asset., • Experience in operating machinery and / or mobile equipment., • Ability to read work orders and blueprints preferred., • Must be able to work as a team member collaborating with colleagues., • Frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and pushing, pulling, or lifting objects for the duration of your required schedule shift., • Use hands and arms to operate tools, handle materials, and reach for the duration of your required scheduled shift., • Regularly lift and carry 30–35 pounds; occasionally lift up to 50 pounds., • Required vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment., • A supportive, family oriented Nortrak Blue culture., • We provide an environment where Health and Safety is our #1 priority., • Career development opportunities and competitive pay progression., • Competitive medical, dental & vision benefits., • Company paid life and disability insurance., • Paid holidays and vacation., • Retirement plan with matching contributions., • Tuition Assistance Program., • Wellness Program., • Employee Assistance Program., • Employee Recognition Programs.
