    Location: Orlando, FL 32805 Employment Type: Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chinese Wok Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of authentic Chinese cooking techniques, especially wok skills, and be responsible for both daily food production and inventory management. This position requires excellent attention to detail, strong organization, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Work Schedule Hours: 5:00 PM to 4:00 AM Days: Full-time schedule with one day off per week (to be discussed during hiring) Key Responsibilities Cooking & Preparation Prepare, cook, and plate dishes using traditional Chinese wok techniques (stir-fry, deep-fry, steam, braise, etc.) according to standard recipes. Ensure consistent flavor, presentation, and portion control for all menu items. Perform pre-work tasks including washing, cutting, and marinating meat and vegetables before service. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the cooking area at all times. Inventory Management Track and manage daily inventory levels of ingredients and supplies. Communicate with management and vendors to place orders and prevent stock shortages or waste. Label, date, and organize stored ingredients to ensure proper rotation and freshness (FIFO method). Kitchen Operations Work closely with the head chef and team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Assist in training new kitchen staff on proper cooking and safety procedures. Follow all health and safety regulations to comply with local and state codes. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chinese wok chef or line cook in an Asian restaurant. In-depth knowledge of Chinese cuisine and wok techniques. Ability to handle multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining quality. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Compensation Pay: Competitive hourly rate based on experience. Payment Schedule: Bi-weekly. The Quality Inspector will set up and operate various types of computerized and state-of-the-art nondestructive test equipment determining the most effective inspection methods to be used for each specific application.
