Job Description The Residential Laborer will assist the property management team and building superintendents in performing various maintenance, repair, and upkeep tasks for residential units and common areas. This role requires physical labor and the ability to handle a variety of tasks related to property maintenance, preparing vacant units for new tenants, and ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the grounds. Key Responsibilities: Assist Superintendents and Property Manager: • Load and unload trucks with materials and supplies., • Replace appliances, doors, and door locks., • Remove and replace floor and wall tiles., • Remove carpet and prepare flooring for new installation., • Move kitchen cabinets for extermination access., • Install new kitchen cabinets, sinks, and fixtures as needed. The route will involve operating the Sweeper truck to scheduled stops and emptying trash cans, blowing off walk areas, picking up all trash on the property, and sweeping/cleaning the parking areas. The truck driver position requires the ability to navigate traffic, be organized, log correct information, have alert driving senses, and get in and out of the truck multiple times a night. You will walk 3-5 miles a night and will need to use a large leaf blower and bend over to pick up large trash items that weigh up to 50 pounds.
