Job Description JOB SUMMARY: This position serves as a partner to assigned business units, influencing and guiding managers and employees by providing human resources (HR) expertise on employee relations, performance management, investigations, and day-to-day people matters. This role collaborates closely with leadership, managers, and employees to strengthen workplace relationships, improve engagement, and support productivity and retention. In addition, this position analyzes HR trends and metrics, contributes to the Human Resources departmental goals, and recommends policies and process improvements to enhance overall HR effectiveness. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Conducts weekly meetings with business units including managers and employees., 2. Consults with management, providing HR guidance as needed and when appropriate., 3. Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies., 4. Manages and resolves employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations, brings in other Directors, HR staff and or leadership when appropriate., 5. Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to managers on employee relations matters, investigations, coaching, and corrective action., 6. Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention., 7. Researches, identifies and recommends training for business units and staff needs., 8. Actively participates with the HR department and HR leadership team to develop and achieve departmental goals and metrics., 9. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed., 10. Maintains knowledge of HR company-wide practices and policies, remains current of HR regulations and regulatory changes in advance., 11. Other related duties as assigned by manager or leadership. JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS Education: • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business administration or a related field; equivalent professional experience in a relevant industry will be considered. Certifications or Licenses: • Professional certification in Human Resources preferred. Experience • Minimum of four (4) years’ experience functioning as a a Senior Human Resources Generalist., • Previous experience working in fast paced, dynamic health care environment preferred., • Previous experience working with a multi-state employer a plus. Skills and Competencies: • Proficient experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Human Capital Management platform and knowledge of payroll regulations preferred., • Demonstrated ability to build strong, credible relationships with executive leadership, senior leaders, managers, and frontline employees., • Confident, self-directed professional comfortable meeting independently with leaders, managers, and employees across multiple business units., • Strong working knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws, with the ability to apply legal and regulatory requirements in practical, business-focused solutions., • Highly organized and results-oriented, with the ability to prioritize competing demands, manage multiple initiatives, and consistently meet deadlines., • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate complex or sensitive information., • Demonstrated ability to manage documentation, investigations, and compliance requirements accurately and thoroughly., • Demonstrated commitment to ethical HR practices, professionalism, and integrity in all interactions., • Strong cultural awareness with a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and fostering an inclusive workplace environment., • Proficient in relationship management, consultation, and partnering to support business objectives. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS Work is typically performed in an office environment, as well as settings throughout the system and surrounding communities. Independent travel is required. • Consistently communicates and converses verbally and in writing with leadership, employees, patients, and clients to exchange accurate information., • Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences., • Operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer, etc. in order to generate documents, reports, etc., • Regularly lifts, carries, or otherwise moves and positions objects weighing up to 10 pounds when dealing with office supplies., • Occasionally required to travel by various methods including air, rail, or to operate a motor vehicle in order to attend business meetings or visit sites.
