Job Description The Brennan Center for Justice at NYU School of Law is a nonpartisan law and policy institute that seeks to improve the systems of democracy and justice in the United States. Responsibilities: All interns will assist with general research and administrative work for the Brennan Center, including coordinating meetings, and drafting routine correspondence. There will also be opportunities to attend and observe substantive meetings, events, and conversations on program work. In addition to administrative duties, specific responsibilities for the Multimedia team include: Assisting with creating video assets for Brennan Center’s digital platforms. Job DescriptionINNOCENCE NETWORK SPECIAL PROJECTS INTERN FALL 2026 - SPRING 2027JOB SUMMARY: The Innocence Project is a not-for-profit organization that works to exonerate innocent people through post-conviction DNA testing and develop and implement policy changes to prevent wrongful convictions and otherwise reform the criminal justice system. The Innocence Network is an affiliation of over 70 independent nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, and public defender’s offices that is dedicated to exonerating wrongfully convicted people and reforming the criminal justice system to avoid future injustice. The Innocence Network member organizations vary in the size, budget, and number of cases they can investigate, and most primarily represent clients in the state in which they work. The Innocence Network Support Unit is seeking an intern to support the operational activities of the Innocence Network. The Network Special Projects Intern will report to the Innocence Network Coordinator and will work with other members of the Network Support Unit. The intern can expect to gain direct exposure to various areas of non-profit management, event planning, and exposure to a national coalition of criminal legal reform organizations. The internship is based in the Innocence Project office in lower Manhattan and requires a minimum commitment of at least 16 hours a week beginning in September 2026; however, the time frame and schedule are flexible. POSITION SUMMARY The Field Assistant Intern plays a key role in the support of field projects and delivery of Trout Unlimited’s Deschutes Restoration Outreach Program, a multi-faceted educational outreach program that involves youth and young adults in Trout Unlimited’s angler-centric conservation mission. The Field Assistant works closely with the Oregon Conservation Education Manager and Central Oregon Project Coordinator to scout project sites, support volunteer days, and work with our project partners for basic implementation on the ground. In addition, the Field Assistant will support delivery of a series of sub-programs within Headwaters Program known as the Stream of Engagement. The intern will plan and carry out watershed education events for a host of youth participants, including K-12 students and youth from community-based organizations. This is a regional-level position with responsibilities for supporting volunteer leaders, project logistics, and youth program participants in the Pacific Northwest. The job will require a high degree of coordination with fellow educators and additional TU staff. A successful candidate will have a deep passion for trout and salmon conservation issues, as well as a background in K-12 education (with preference given for experience creating curriculum and managing field-based environmental or science education initiatives) and have demonstrated curriculum development and educational program delivery experience.
