Job Description We are hiring a proven Inside Sales Representative with strong appliance knowledge and a track record of generating sales, building accounts, and closing business from the desk. This role requires someone who understands the appliance business, can work leads aggressively, prepare quotes, follow up consistently, and help grow both new and existing accounts. The right candidate will own the full sales cycle from inbound and outbound prospecting through quoting, closing, order coordination, and repeat account growth. You must be comfortable working the phones, email, and CRM every day, speaking with customers confidently, handling pricing and competitive bids, and helping move opportunities to close. Key Responsibilities: • Prospect and qualify new business opportunities by phone and email, • Call on property managers, builders, developers, contractors, designers, dealers, and other target accounts, • Handle inbound sales opportunities and convert them into closed business, • Present product options, availability, lead times, promotions, warranties, and value-added services, • Prepare quotes for retail, builder, and multi-unit opportunities, • Run competitive price comparisons and support bid strategy, • Follow up aggressively and consistently on open quotes and active opportunities, • Maintain a clean and accurate pipeline in CRM, • Negotiate pricing and move opportunities toward clear close/win/loss decisions, • Grow one-time buyers into repeat customers and long-term accounts, • Upsell accessories, installation, delivery services, and extended protection plans, • Coordinate with operations, logistics, and customer service on delivery timing, order accuracy, and issue resolution, • Stay current on appliance specifications, model changes, promotions, and brand updates, • Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on pipeline activity, quotes, sales, and forecast accuracy Required Qualifications: • Minimum 3+ years of inside sales experience, • Appliance industry experience strongly preferred, • Strong understanding of appliance categories, configurations, fuel types, install basics, and product families, • Proven track record of quota attainment and new account development, • Strong phone sales, follow-up, and closing ability, • Experience preparing quotes, proposals, and competitive bids, • Proficiency with CRM systems such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, Odoo, or similar platforms, • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, • Organized, disciplined, detail-oriented, and highly persistent Preferred Qualifications: • Experience selling to both B2B and B2C customers, • Experience with builders, property managers, designers, developers, and project accounts, • Familiarity with Shopify, Odoo, ERP systems, freight, white-glove delivery, and installation coordination, • Experience with multi-unit quotes, bid packages, RFPs, alternates, and value engineering Key Performance Indicators: • New accounts opened per month, • Quotes sent to closed-won conversion rate, • Monthly booked revenue and gross margin, • Follow-up speed and activity levels, • Forecast accuracy and CRM discipline, • Repeat customer growth and account retention Compensation & Benefits: • Base salary + commission + performance bonuses, • On-target earnings based on experience and production, • Benefits package and PTO available, • CRM access, sales tools, lead lists, and product training provided Work Style: • High-volume calls and email outreach, • Strong daily structure: prospect, quote, follow up, close, • Team-oriented approach with sales, operations, logistics, and customer support, • Fast-paced environment with accountability and clear sales expectations By applying to this job, you agree to receive periodic text messages from this employer and Homebase about your pending job application.
