Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. A dynamic opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services within a middle school setting in Schenectady, NY. This contract role focuses on supporting students in a self-contained classroom environment, catering to a diverse population with a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders and disabilities. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver individualized speech-language therapy to middle school students with diverse communication needs., • Assess, develop, and implement treatment plans tailored to each students unique requirements., • Collaborate effectively with educators, healthcare professionals, and families to support student progress., • Utilize teletherapy tools when necessary to enhance service delivery., • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with educational regulations., • Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), with CCC or relevant licensure., • Experience working in school settings, particularly with pediatric and healthcare populations., • Familiarity with managing a variety of speech and language disorders, especially in middle school-aged children., • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team., • Gain valuable experience working with a diverse student population., • Enhance skills in pediatric speech therapy within a supportive educational setting.
