Why You’ll Love Working Here • Mission-driven culture focused on healing, hope, and child abuse prevention, • Supportive, trauma-informed clinical environment, • Supervision, licensure support, CEUs, and growth in clinical skills, • Nationally recognized programs using evidence-based practices, • Collaborative teams with strong clinical leadership and child advocacy support, • Robust benefits package (medical, dental, vision, EAP, 403(b), PTO, holidays), • Ongoing professional development, • Opportunity to directly impact children and families through child welfare services The Work You’ll Do • Assess client needs and interpret evaluations to develop OT treatment plans, • Implement therapy programs to build fine motor, gross motor, sensory, perceptual, and daily living skills, • Support clients with physical, cognitive, or emotional challenges, • Promote functional independence based on each child’s abilities and goals, • Monitor and document progress; adjust treatment plans as needed, • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and team members to support home carryover, • Recommend adaptive equipment and follow-up services, • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure a safe, compliant treatment environment What You Bring – Required • Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy (AOTA-accredited), • Arizona Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) & AOTCB certified, • Minimum 1 year of OT experience, • Professional liability insurance, • Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills, • Ability to meet physical demands (lifting up to 50 lbs.), • Ability to work with children who may display challenging behaviors What You Bring – Preferred • Experience in trauma-informed care, • Bilingual, • Experience with emotionally disturbed children or adolescents, • Background in child welfare, crisis intervention, or nonprofit services Schedule & Work Environment • Typical Schedule: 8am-5pm, • In-person, • May require occasional on-call or adjusted hours based on client needs, • Supportive, trauma-informed workplace culture Ready to Join Childhelp and help create a world where every child feels safe, seen and supported?
