Job DescriptionSalary: $75,000-$95,000 About Us We are a multi-divisional family office with diverse interests across various industries. Our IT needs have grown significantly, and we are transitioning from outsourcing to building an in-house IT capability. This is a unique opportunity to take full ownership of our technology environment, ensuring security, stability, and scalability across multiple entities. Position Overview The IT Lead will be responsible for all aspects of IT strategy, operations, and security across the family office and its portfolio companies. This is a hands on leadership role, working alongside our Founder you will design the roadmap, implement solutions, and personally manage daily IT operations without reliance on outside providers (at least initially). You will work closely with executives and division leaders to ensure our technology supports business goals, mitigates risks, and provides a secure, efficient environment for all stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Strategy & Leadership • Develop and maintain an IT roadmap aligned with business objectives across all divisions., • Establish IT governance, policies, and best practices., • Design, implement, and maintain networks (LAN/WAN, VPNs, Wi-Fi, firewalls)., • Manage servers, virtualization, and cloud environments., • Implement and enforce robust security protocols., • Manage access controls to prevent unauthorized entry., • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and incident response planning., • Oversee ERP, CRM, accounting, and industry-specific systems., • Manage Microsoft 365, Azure, and other cloud services., • Implement structured data backup and recovery processes., • Maintain database integrity and performance., • Provide direct technical support to executives and staff., • Troubleshoot hardware/software/network issues., • Negotiate with vendors for hardware, software, and services., • Lead IT projects from conception to delivery., • Coordinate cross-division technology initiatives. Required Qualifications (Must Have Requirements) • 7-10+ years senior-level IT experience, covering both strategy and hands on execution., • Strong cybersecurity expertise with proven track record in protocol design and incident response., • Proficiency in network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, Wi-Fi, routing/switching)., • Windows Server & Active Directory administration., • Microsoft 365, Azure or AWS administration experience., • Backup & disaster recovery planning expertise., • Experience supporting multiple companies/divisions under one umbrella., • ERP/CRM/application management skills., • Vendor negotiation and licensing management experience., • High integrity, excellent communication skills, and proactive problem-solving mindset. Preferred Qualifications (Good-to-Haves) • Virtualization experience (VMware, Hyper-V)., • Database administration (SQL Server, MySQL)., • Automation/scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash)., • Mobile Device Management (MDM) experience., • Cross-platform expertise (Windows, macOS, Linux)., • Cloud migration experience., • Prior family office, private equity, or multi-company environment experience., • IT budget management experience., • Project management methodology knowledge (Agile, Waterfall)., • IT policy creation and documentation experience. Job Purpose The Manufacturing IT Systems & Infrastructure Assistant Manager is responsible for implementing and supporting IT solutions across Manufacturing, Packaging, Warehouse, Quality, R&D, and Regulatory functions. This role provides hands-on support for IT systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, AI automation, and computer system validation (CSV), while partnering with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver compliant, scalable, and secure technology solutions. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities Application & Systems Management • Support and administer MES, Serialization, SCADA, LIMS, QC, QA, R&D, and RA systems., • Build deep technical understanding of manufacturing and quality applications to propose system enhancements and process improvements aligned with business needs., • Provide SAP support for Production, Warehouse, Packaging, and Quality modules., • Manage audit trails, CSV documentation, and validation activities., • Support IT infrastructure, networking, and enterprise security solutions., • Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls in alignment with compliance requirements., • Support AI automation initiatives and evaluate emerging technologies., • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Packaging, Warehouse, QC, QA, R&D, Engineering, Finance, HR, and IT Business Partners., • Coordinate with internal Corporate IT Infrastructure and Security teams., • Identify opportunities to scale applications across regions with similar business processes., • Develop business cases for tactical and strategic IT solutions aligned with future roadmaps., • Track project timelines, milestones, scope, budgets, and deliverables., • Ensure KPIs and success metrics align with defined business outcomes., • Design and manage support models, ensuring SLAs are met for Incident, Change, and Request Management., • Coordinate delivery with internal teams and external partners Qualifications & Requirements Education • 4–6 years of experience across multiple IT platforms., • Experience supporting Manufacturing, Packaging, Warehouse, and Quality IT systems in a regulated (preferably pharmaceutical) environment., • Hands-on experience with MES, SCADA, LIMS, Serialization, and SAP., • Strong experience with CSV, validation, and audit readiness., • IT administration for Manufacturing, Packaging, and Quality systems., • CSV, PLC validation, and QC instrument software validation., • SAP (Production, Warehouse, Packaging, Quality modules)., • Database knowledge (SQL / Oracle)., • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills., • Ability to translate technical solutions into business value., • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills., • Experience working with cross-functional and global teams.
