Job Description Astor Services is seeking a licensed clinical professional to supervise the Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program. As the Supervisor, you’ll lead the multidisciplinary team providing staff development and supervision, oversee the program milieu, manage referrals and intakes, and ensure the delivery of high-quality care to adolescents experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges. You must have: • New York licensed mental health clinician (LCSW, LMHC-D, PhD, or PsyD preferred; LMSW or LMHC considered based on experience) with relevant experience in adolescent mental health crisis intervention., • Prior supervisory experience preferred., • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills., • Valid New York driver’s license that meets agency standards. Job Responsibilities: • Team Administration: Lead team meetings, morning rounds, and treatment team meetings., • Intake Coordination: Either directly or through task delegation to staff respond to program inquiries; process, assess, track, and manage referrals. Conduct intake assessments within 48 hours of referral either directly or through clinician assignment., • Discharge Coordination: Assist clinicians in establishing discharge plans with clients and families that set them up for success. Through knowledge of community programs, provide guidance on appropriate discharge resources and referral linkage based on clients and families goals and needs., • Staff Supervision: Provide individual and group supervision to staff in the program. The Supervisor is responsible for management of any performance issues or training needed with the assistance of the Director of PHP., • Clinical supervision: Provide clinical oversight of PHP cases and ensure documentation and program requirements are met. Consult with clinicians to identify client’s presenting concerns, treatment planning, service delivery, and discharge planning., • Direct Services: Provide direct services to clients and families based on needs of program., • Data reporting: Either directly or through task delegation to staff, complete data reporting as required by agency, county and OMH., • On-call support: Manage on-call scheduling and responsibilities for clinicians and rotate on-call supervisory coverage responsibilities within the PHP supervisory team., • Staff Recruitment and Training: PHP staff recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding and development in partnership with Director of Partial Hospitalization Programs., • Agency and Community Partnership: Represent program in Astor committees as assigned and represent agency in community meetings/committees as assigned. Outreach to community providers and maintain community partnerships.
