Compensation: $120,000+ at plan earnings Responsibilities: • Tailor risk management strategies and client profiles to reflect each customer’s individual needs, • Serve as an attentive listener when communicating with new and potential clients in order to accurately identify their unique needs prior to pursuing specific insurance sales, • Remain updated about insurance industry changes that may affect customers in your portfolio, • Maintain a portfolio of existing customers and pursue insurance sales with new clients by using sales strategies that may include cold calling and networking, • Keep an accurate log of sales databases, client reports, bookkeeping records, and more to share progress toward goals with key stakeholders, • Employ a research-based approach to providing financial advice and strategies based on educational meetings and/or seminars centered on client risk tolerance and financial goals, • Collect and organize each client’s financial information using a CRM to determine financial status, financial goals, cash flow, and financial expectations, • Assess each client’s potential life and financial needs to create an individualized financial plan that leverages the products and services we offer, • Implement social media and other marketing tools to identify, seek, and generate prospects with whom you can foster strong, long-term relationships as a reliable financial service professional, • Provide financial recommendations to clients for savings plans, life insurance policies, mutual fund investments, and other financial productsQualifications:, • Must be a superb communicator able to carefully analyze complex ideas like insurance programs; experience working in customer service is beneficial, • Basic understanding of sales lead or accounting software is helpful, • Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is required, • Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma mandatory, • Ability to learn and understand state and federal regulations that affect insurance sales, insurance clients, and the insurance industry as a whole, • Assess each client’s potential life and financial needs to create an individualized financial plan that leverages the products and services we offer, • Implement social media and other marketing tools to identify, seek, and generate prospects with whom you can foster strong, long-term relationships as a reliable financial service professional, • Provide financial recommendations to clients for savings plans, life insurance policies, mutual fund investments, and other financial productsAbout Company About New York Life New York Life is a Fortune 100 company with a long history of doing good.
