This full-time, exempt leadership role offers flexibility—and requires it. Your schedule may include early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends based on operational needs. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Staff Development • Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate program staff and volunteers., • Build high-performing teams through coaching, motivation, and accountability., • Lead development, delivery, and evaluation of childcare and camp programs., • Maintain compliance with YMCA policies, licensing standards, and safety requirements., • Partner with schools, community agencies, and internal departments to support program success., • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial controls, and program outcomes., • Analyze data, systems, and processes to identify opportunities for growth and retention., • Maintain accurate records and documentation., • Coordinate registration, fee schedules, handbooks, and participant communications., • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience., • Minimum 2+ years of supervisory experience in youth programs, childcare, camp, or related fields., • Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills., • Ability to adapt to variable hours including mornings, evenings, and weekends., • Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)., • DOJ & FBI fingerprint clearance required which includes sex offender screening.
